What Does My Membership Pay For?

Your annual membership fee helps cover the operational expenses of running the Pathways4Kids nonprofit. This includes website costs, operational and business expenses (legal, accounting). Our board and committee members are all volunteers at this time, so all proceeds go directly into keeping the lights on!

It also helps support collaboration. In 2026, we hosted our very first Pathways4Kids conference. Over 80 members attended with from 55 organizations and included 14 posters and 12 Presentations. It was wildly successful and only because this group of professionals came together to meet a goal.

Will You Offer Group Memberships?

Possibly! We are in the early phases as a nonprofit and are still figuring things out- it may be some time before we know. Please reach out to Courtney Titus, Leigh Anne Bakel or Ilana Waynik for specific questions.

Help Getting Funding

Many institutions support professional and quality improvement resources. This template letter can help you request funding for your Pathways4Kids membership and outline how it can support pathway development and program growth.

Template Letter for Hospital Funding Request

Dear [Decision-Maker’s Name],

I’m requesting institutional support for a Pathways4Kids Professional Membership. This resource provides access to a growing national network of pediatric clinical pathway programs, along with tools and shared materials that can support the development and ongoing improvement of our own pathway initiatives.

Through the member directory and forum, we can connect with other institutions to compare approaches, ask targeted questions, and learn how similar programs are addressing clinical and operational challenges. The platform also includes educational webinars, recordings from prior conferences, and practical resources such as pathway documents, templates, and implementation tools that can be adapted for local use.

Membership also offers opportunities to engage in collaborative efforts around best practices and standardized measures, which can help strengthen alignment with evidence-based care and support quality improvement work within our organization. Members receive priority registration for the annual Pathways4Kids conference as an additional opportunity for learning and collaboration.

This membership would support more efficient pathway development, reduce duplication of work, and provide access to shared expertise that can inform our clinical and operational decisions.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,
[Your Name]

Membership Eligibility

This community is designed for healthcare professionals committed to advancing pediatric clinical pathways and improving patient care. To maintain a trusted, peer-to-peer environment, membership is limited to individuals without industry affiliations that could present a conflict of interest. This includes employment with device, software, platform, or technology companies. We welcome collaboration with industry partners through separate sponsorship and partnership pathways.

Can I Donate to Support Pathways4Kids?

Membership keeps the lights on, but donations will help us GROW! We have a big vision for this group, including eventually developing a data repository so we can share data. Anything above and beyond member fees will help with that vision. Donate HERE.

Can My Organization be a Sponsor?

Yes! We are still building out what that looks like. Please reach out to Pathways4Kids leadership if interested!
