Theme: Turning Evidence Into Impact: Pathways That Change Care

Focus: Implementation, Human Factors, Integration, Measurable Results, Patient Outcomes, Provider Engagement, Best Practice Translation, Artificial Intelligence

Target Audience

This event is for pediatric clinical pathways teams who develop, approve, implement and review pathways.

Learning Opportunities:

  • Compare approaches to technology integration (EHR platforms, decision support tools, and dashboards) and apply lessons learned from peer institutions.
  • Describe implementation techniques that drive behavior change, improve care delivery, and engage frontline teams.
  • Evaluate emerging practices and future trends in pediatric pathway design, including AI, algorithm development, and collaborative research.
  • Network and collaborate with peers across children’s hospitals to share experiences, challenges, and solutions that can be adapted locally.

Are You Accepting Speakers or Presenters?

Yes! We are excited to announce that we will once again be accepting abstract submissions for the 2027 conference.

This year, all presentation proposals will be submitted as abstracts. Following peer review, selected submissions will be invited as one of the following presentation formats:

  • CME Presentation
  • Panel or Rapid Fire Presentation
  • Poster Presentation (non CME)

What If My Data Isn’t Finalized?

That’s okay! We understand that many quality improvement and implementation projects are still in progress. You may submit your abstract with preliminary results, as long as your data and analysis are expected to be complete before the conference.

When Can I Submit an Abstract?

We anticipate opening abstract submissions in mid July, with submissions closing on August 17. An abstract template and submission form will be available once the call for abstracts opens.

Will There Be a Poster Session?

Yes! Our inaugural poster session in 2026 was a tremendous success, and we’re looking forward to making it even bigger in 2027. Poster presentations are a great opportunity to share quality improvement initiatives, pathway implementation experiences, research, and innovative ideas with colleagues from pediatric institutions across North America.
